About the IAP

Ben-Gurion University’s Industrial Affiliates Program (IAP) was established in 2007 to consolidate the University’s existing industrial ties, and to facilitate the creation of significant new ties with leading industrial organizations in Israel and worldwide. The main objective of the program is to harness industrial ties for the benefit of cutting-edge academic research, academic programs, academic staff, and students in all departments and tracks. The platform provides exclusive access to Ben-Gurion’s R&D, educational means  and human resources, and the opportunity to take part in shaping Israel’s industrial future.

As Israel’s 3rd largest and fastest growing university, with over 18,000 students, 5,000 graduates per year, over 800 faculty members, and over 1,000 PhD candidates, Ben-Gurion University is an industrial powerhouse on the rise. Promoting openness, collaborative spirit, and interdisciplinary research, Ben-Gurion’s IAP was established at  university level, as a testimony to the commitment of the management of the university to its industrial ties, and to the innovative and collaborative spirit of Ben-Gurion University as a whole.
